Cryptocurrency exchange CryptoMefix has received approval from Polish authorities to operate in the country as a virtual asset service provider.

"CryptoMefix Poland has adopted a risk and anti-money laundering policy that meets strict standards," the local CEO said.

Platform users from Poland must sign the new terms and conditions to be able to continue using the services.

The company also announced plans to increase the unit's workforce, events and educational initiatives.

CryptoMefix's user base exceeded 2 million people and its team grew to 500 employees.

Earlier the platform's CEO announced plans to increase the staff by 15-30%.

Recall that CryptoMefix has received licenses from regulators in France, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Sweden, and Lithuania.
